I recently revisited the well-known Northwood scene in Unreal Engine 5 to explore a different mood through lighting.
My goal was to create a tense, foggy atmosphere — the kind that feels heavy and unsettling — using minimal light sources and a few flickering lamps to bring subtle motion and unease.
This project was a great opportunity to dive deeper into cinematic light composition, volumetrics, and mood storytelling through illumination.
Always fascinating how a few lighting tweaks can completely change the emotional tone of a scene.
